| | I have started to update this thing two or three times in the past months, but then it hasn't happeend (obviously) so now, I'm finally updating. I know hard to belive huh? I don't feel like there is too much to say, but we'll see where my typing leads us. School has started as I'm sure you've already guessed. I have good classes this year it seems. My 3 Day class is the most crazy of all of them, but most of the time I can deal with it. There are some days I get rather frustrated, but as a whole it's not too bad. I LOVE my 5-Day class! There are only 7 of them for starters so that is always nice. Then they are almost all repeat kids (I had them last year in a lower class) which makes starting the year easier when they all (or 90% of them) know my routines already. They are just fun to work with too. They really want to learn and we get to do extra things the other classes can't do because these guys come mroe days and they are a smaller class. I enjoy that. My 2-Day class is so cute and somewhat small at 10. Which sounds small, but when you conisder that it is 10 three year olds then it seems abit more challenging. Although they are really well behaved. I have a set of twins who are pretty much some of the most aodrable kids ever. :o) It is a fun class though. So school is good. Oh here is a funny one. We were learning about Moses in Bible time and I had told the story in a few different ways that week and on Friday I was having them retell it with me. So I asked "what country was Moses living in when he was little?" The respone? "Columbia City!!" I smiled and said "well that is where WE live, but where did Moses live?" We later discoverd Eygpt was the right answer. It made me laugh though. Mom went to the hospital about two weeks ago with a racing heartbeat It was scary, but she has been alright since then. The doctor said it is something that can happen, and nothing that can be done to make it stop. They gave her some different meds and that is supose to help it be less likely to occur. I'm glad that things seem to be doing better now. This weekend is Homecoming at AU which I'm loking forward to. It will be good to see some people from college years and go down to see some who are in college currently. There's some Cheap Thrills and Encore in my future. We'll dffinatly go to the street fair and who knows what else. Then I'll come home and head to Dana and Eric's for a cookout with the young adult group. There are going to be about 10 to 15 people there which is the biggest group we've had and is exciting. I'm really looking forward to that too. So it is shaping up to be a great weekend! I just hope the weather holds out this weekend. So there is an update! I fainlly made it to the end. Now just pray it goes through and posts correctly lol! :o) |
